The University participated during 13^th Aldaw Ta Kitanglad Celebration last November 10-12, 2009. It is a yearly celebration to show respect and acknowledge the participation of indigenous communities surrounding Mt. Kitanglad Range National Park in the aspect of protection and development. BSU is one of the various agencies who serve as a partner in maintaining, protecting and preserving the Mt. Kitanglad Natural Range Park.
