The BSU Chorale and Cultural Dancers were invited to participate in the Department of Tourism’s month-long celebration in Intramuros, Manila last May 27 to 29, 2009. The celebration featured songs and dances of the different Regions of the Philippines. The BSU Cultural Group represented Northern Mindanao through the invitation of the Department of Tourism and request of the Provincial Governor of Bukidnon.

Bukidnon State University is located in the capital town of Malaybalay City, Bukidnon and is strategically positioned to serve Region 10, the CARAGA Region and other outlaying cities and provinces of Mindanao. It is one of the leading educational institutions serving the people not only in Mindanao but also the country in general.
