Reserve Section

Reserve Section  is located in the second floor near the entrance door.

Reserved books are place in separate shelves where they are available on a restricted basis. These reading materials are on high demand, therefore, the purpose of the procedure is to ensure that every student has a fair chance of reading the materials put on reserved.

Circulation Section

General Circulation Section  is located in the second floor  far side corner from the entrance door.

This section holds all books in subject areas for general and purpose readings. The books in this area can be loaned out for home reading.

Internet Section

Internet Section is located in the second floor left side corner from the Entrance Door.

This sections provides 26 computers connected to a 1 Mbps Lease line from Globe-Innove. Students enjoy fast internet access at a fraction of the commercial rate. The internet facility utilizes Linux for its Operating System. Students need to log-in before they can use this facility.

Technical Processing

The Technical Room is located in second floor near the stairs leading to the 3rd floor.

It’s activities such as book classification, cataloging and encoding. All newly acquired materials are passed on to this area for physical processing before they are ready for clientele use.

Filipiniana Section

This section is located on the 3rd floor of the library. The area composed of books and other printing materials about the Philippines in all fields of knowledge, authored by Filipinos and foreigners.

For short informational facts, the users may find the general references conveniently arranged on book shelves. Materials include: encyclopedias, dictionaries, bibliographies, directories, handbooks and manuals and others.

This section holds the local and foreign subscription of the university. Bound periodicals and loose issues are on the display shelves. Pamphlets, clippings and other similar materials are available in the vertical file. These are arranged alphabetically by subjects.
